I would suggest picking up a thread chart from another thread manufacturer and start converting over. Since Maderia took over ARC, they might have the Maderia number that matches it.
I have one unopened mini cone in 1520. The dye lot is 257851 07. I'd be happy to sell it if you want it. I'm in Charlotte, NC.
I will post a new message to the group about this, but I have a lot of unopened mini and king cones of ARC. I don't use it, so it makes sense to sell it if anyone is interested. I just don't have any idea how much it is worth. If you have any tips about price, I'd be happy to hear them.
Email me privately if you want this mini-cone. Mary
Thank you all. I am still trying to figure out exactly what I am going to do. I have only found one partial small cone that is an exact match. I may have to change the dye lot and hope for an exact match.
This has been a good lesson for me. When I did the first (heirloom type) project I did not know I would need to do a separate project that would be framed and hang beside it. I won't do anything like this again unless I have a supply of dye lot matching thread on hand.
Marcelle, I have a new spool of 1520 I can send you.
