  • NOISE

I am having some noise problems and hope you can help.
I was doing some lettering with the letters being 3.5 inches square. Everything starts out fine then it seems that when the machine starts to sew a long column say like on the letter "T", as it is sewing the satin stitches it make a very loud noise like something in binding. the noise continues until the sew direction changes. The noise occurs on the x axis plane.
The quality is still great but I don't want to cause a problem by continuing on. the stitch widit is 3/8 of an inch.

    Thanks for your help.

Your stitch width may be too wide. I generally do not sew columns past 1/4 inch without splitting them. This could also be a cable tension issue. When I switched to version 9 it required a retensioning.
