Oil on needle and thread

My Amaya XT started putting oil on the needle and thread during a job. I can find oil on the needle. What is causing this? How do I fix it?

The oil 'pad' on the needle bar itself is overloaded and it is dripping down the back of the bar. Best you can do is pull the threads out of the needles (either side of plus the leaky one) and get a paper towel (OR soft piece of cutaway backing is REAL absorbent) and soak up what you can. Until the stuff stops dripping, don't add extra oil to those needle bars. Other than that, not much you can do about it.

Would it help to run a test pattern through the machine a couple of times after doing this?
