• Communications Timeout

Hi

I am confused. I just sewed a tote, and it stopped with a thread break. For some reason everything is messed up now. It wouln't restart. When I rebooted (the amaya and the computer), it didn't help. I got an error message of "X Axis Home Timeout" (I think that's what it said). I keep trying to get the communication right, but I now get the message Communications Timeout and it stays as a blank screen (like when the OS is running but no machines are turned on). Does anyone have any clues as to what's going on? Of course, I've got to get some orders out soon! Uggg!

Thanks!

Lisa,
First check to see if have the emergency stop button pressed in- just twist to the right to release.

The button is released. The light is green. Still no luck.

Hmmm! The 1st thing you are going to have to do is get the machine at "head-up". Go under tools>maintenance>head timing>head up. Might want to go under "steppers" while you are there and send everything "home". Did this help?

Now I am stumped- try private messaging Rod & Sharon and see if Rod can help- that's what I would do at this point. As a matter of fact, he posts his phone # too. It is 208-898-4117. Let us know how you get this resolved. Best of luck.

Check your network cable & Hub if you have one and un[plug and re plug all conectors it sounds like your connection is not there. so look at all the physical things first..
