• Bobbin Thread showing on top of design

Would someone mind giving me details on what to check for bobbin thread showing on top of the design? I tried the one paragraph from the manual with no change.
Thank you!

Check your bobbin tension. Then, check your actifeed settings in Amaya OS and make sure you are using an appropriate setting for your fabric. You can also check column thread feed in Amaya OS.

Check the wax buildup on the bobbin. Lint and etc. can cause the bobbin thread to become loose.

If you are working with small text- you will have to tighen up the bobbin and/or give it more coumn feed.

Gregory, where would you go to give it column feed?

Go in under tools>settings>thread feed- after that try about 35 on the column feed (default is 40). I would also set the lower feed limit at 2 (default is 1) this may also help. The defaullts are 40 for column and 100 for run/fill. It is important to remember the lower the number in column feed, the more thread is fed, but the converse is true of the run/fill feed number- the higher the number the more feed. And the lower limit will not let the (auto) feed go any lower than what you set it. You may have to play around with these settings on a scrap of similar material before you get the result you want.

You can also mess around with the underlay setting to keep the stitches from "burying" themselves in knits and stretchy fabrics. Glad that helped!
