Amaya XT Help..

Hello,
I hope someone can help me. I have a Amaya XT. And have a major problem. I was stitching a left chest when the machine stoped between needles 12 and 13. So I shut the software and machine down. When I booted it back up, It gives me 3 beeps and kinda jerks, but won't go any further. I have had these 2 errors in the window. #1 Communications time out #2 Comand failure. I won't let me use any of the commands in the software until I shut the machine off then it appears to have given me the first screen in the software and will let me choose the tools, but nothing works. Of course, I have a bunch of work sitting here and its Sunday and don't know when I can get a tech out here. If anyone has any help I would really appreciate it.

If you have a regular tech- get him or her on the phone & get them to talk you through this; they should be able to. The first 2 things you need to do are get the machine on a needle not between & get it at head-up. Turn it off (I'd use the e-stop) and rotate the shaft counter-clockwise till it looks to be at about head up, & then see if you can manually push the needle case to get it on a specific needle (it will take some umph).

Just wanted to say Thank You for your response. I did get it to move to a needle, but it still will not start up correct. Get a loud thunp and a beep but nothing else. But when I close Amaya, the software says communication error. My regular tech is out of town so I have another one coming out Wednesday. It is so helpful to belong to a goup that is so willing to help. Thanks again
