  • machine spacing

Rearranging my workspace and one option is to place the machines side by side. My question is, how close can they be? I realize more is better, but need to know the minimum.

    Thanks!

If you put the largest hoops you have on your machines, press the E-Stop in and manually move your X-carriage SLOWLY (one machine to the left and the other to the right), check your clearance. Your machine with hoop needs to be able to move freely without hitting the other machine's hoop. MOVE YOUR CARRIAGE BACK TO CENTER POSITION SLOWLY AND REMEMBER TO DISENGAGE THE E-STOP before turning on your machine again. Ours sit next to each other and I have enough room to get between them to turn them on or off.
