In the last few emails that I received from Amaya users digest there have been spam included within the post that have been sent. Is it that my computer has been accessed or the amaya board digest? Has anyone else received spam?

I try my best to keep it out but sometimes it gets thru. Nothing much more I can do than I already am. Welcome to the reality of the internet in 2010.

'somebody' must have passed along info to get into this site whether by mistake or because they weren't happy here....
but at least you do the 'cleanup' and get rid of it fast!

I used to run message boards a few years ago if you need an admin while you are away. Then take away admin rights when you get back

I'm actually putting a hold on all the sites I run. I don't think a week will kill anyone but if I ever go out of town longer, I'll hit you up on email & take you up!

Thank you John so very much for being this site's admin, and I didn't mean to imply that the job you are doing is not absolutely great. In fact, the reason why I posted this was because of the great job you do...policing the site...there are certain sites that I go on where I feel safe..and never think that I will get a virus or spam...and the Amaya Boards is one of them. So when I got the spam...I was taken back and wanted to make sure that no one else would get it...So if I appeared to have criticized you or the Amaya Board website in any way...please accept my apology...that was not my intention
