I'm going through the old, unused inventory I inherited when I started my current job, and I found a dozen or so spider frames that I haven't touched in the year+ that I've been here. What are these things for?? I use regular two-part hoops on my garment machine; do the spiders work any differently/better than these? Are they for unusual garments? I can't seem to find anything online; searching mostly brings up clever DIY Halloween projects.
