Baseball Cap Disasters

I'm sure someone has asked this question at one point but I am in a bit of a rush. I have watched at least 10 videos on how to properly hoop caps for a front stitch. Sometimes I hoop them and they run fine, other times the strap actually loosens while stitching, other times the cap actually almost falls off the hoop. it only happens with the brand of cap I am working with now. When I hoop them I usually check the tightness of the screws and the strap again before putting them on the driver. Anyone have any suggestions ?

ENZA One size fits all with the Velcro back. I believe they are sort of a low profile style as well

I don't have a style number but in their line I do not see anything that would be a red flag. Double check the rail that is mounted to the machine and ensure it is pushed back to the stop. I have had one of mine loosen up a bit and move forward, causing the cap to try to be pushed off the frame. When I set the cap up on the frame for the first time I like to just hook the band, with out closing the latch, then adjust the tension on the strap by loosening the wing nuts and push the strap back towards them. Once it is set I tighten the wing nuts. This never changes as long as I stay with the same style cap.

So really the only way I have found that works (for further reference) is to use two layers of tear away backing, spray adhesive and slow the stitching down to around 750spm.
