  • Vietnam Souviner Jacket

I have a souviner jacket that I need to digitize and put on a new jacket. it has a large eagle, carrying a branch, i would say at least 14 x 14 then all over the jacket are the names of the places where they toured approximately 9 cities, fonts are all different but in size about 3/4 to 1" tall, then that same eagle is on the left chest and right chest, about 3x3 in size.. Can anyone give me a guide line on how to price? I will be doing both- digitizing and embroidery.
    Thank you so much

We serve a niche market and don't do this kind of thing, but I would bet you're not getting any answers because soooo... much more info would be needed to price out something like this. For starters: do you already have a hoop that can handle the big design, do you have the fonts required etc.

Have you done a search on this site for price per stitches, digitizing fees, estimating stitch counts? There's probably some good info here.

Full Jacket backs are pretty expensive and time consuming. How long do you anticipate this will take to layout & design, test sew, and sew.

Once you add all that up and know what your time is worth, then you can start pricing.

It's not unusual for digitizing of a full back to run $75-100 (or more) alone.

Thank you John and Mama Kass, you are probably right there is not a huge market to do something like this. You both have given me some thoughts to ponder. I really appreciate the input.

          Off to do more research
