cutting stabilizer

what is a good tip for cutting stabilizer which looks clean, not jagged, and not cutting the product. my cuts look like a preschooler.

Take hold of the stabilizer on one edge and let the garment "hang" loose. For left chest designs, we usually just pull the stabilizer and design area up through the neck hole. This way you will be able to see the backside of the stabilizer next to the garment. Now while letting it hang free you can cut a nice clean edge around the outside of the logo/design and not have to worry about cutting the garment....works great.
