  • Multiple layers of 'solvy'?

I'm fiddin' to embroider a logo onto a 'thick-ish' knit material which also contains some text. Is it ever considered a good idea to use more than 1 layer of solvy?

I have used 2 layers before and not had any problems. I just take a spray bottle of water and a dry wash cloth to remove the left overs that so not tear off.

To remove Solvy, use a spray bottle of water and lightly spritz the area. Don't get it too wet. Then take some scrap Solvy and lightly dab the damp area and it will lift off the remaining Solvy like taking gum off a child.

May i suggest a steamer to remove solvy along with the same technique mentioned of dabbing it off with excess solvy. Works beautifully!

Thank you, I did not know to dap with solvy, I have always used a dry cloth. I will try that next time. This is such a great site, you learn so much.

          Thank you all!
