Adjusting machine speed (spm's)

Is it possible to tell the Bravo to embroider a large fill area at one speed and then have it to automagically slow down for a detailed area?

In a word
No.

You can set the max speed but the machine will slow when it needs to but there is no setting for every color as far as speed.
at least not that I know of.

If you own Design shop Pro + you can select the design and right click and choose project and then Amaya.
in this window you can set it to settings by color and then set each color to the speed you want.

But there is no way to do it at the OS level that I know of.

The Bravo runs on AOS Lite. Unless you have the "upgraded" Pacakage C you do not have access to "Settings By Color" option.

But, in AOS, in the Color Sequencing settings tab, Settings by Color will do what you want with the higher level software.
