For those of you who use the Mighty Hoop magnetic hooping system, I am wondering how much extra work is involved with lining up your garments on the frame to insure your logo's are straight? Does one need to mark the parimeters for logo placement, or does it have something on it to guide the placement of the garment? Also, we use the rectangle FB hoop and 12 & 15cm hoops that came with our amaya machines frequently--what might hoop frames replace those hoops? Oh, and does this system work on heavy, high dollar backpacks? Thanks.

the mighty hoop is easy to reposition if you feel the need.
But have you never used your laser align functions?
They are great and you can sew a perfect placement no matter what angle you have it in your hoop.

the mighty hoop comes in a 4.5 & 5.5 size
I just did an order of 100 insulated freezable , foldable lunch bags with them with out a thread break or hooping issue.
and they are Very heavy about 3 lbs each.
that is a lot for their size.

As far as laser alignment, yes, we frequently use this function, but generally only on more difficult to hoop pieces. One still needs to mark those items to use laser if no pocket or something to use as guide of course. Thanks for the input. Just want to know how easy this system is to use and is it worth the $ since it is a high priced system. It's great that they do give you 30 days to check it out!

By the way a piece of masking tape works great to use to align with the laser and then pull it off just before you hit start.

I have a different question about the Magic Hoops. Do you think that it puts extra stress on the cables and stretches them out faster since the magic hoops are so heavy? When I use the large 11x13 magic hoop, I get the noise like the X cable is stretched, but I don't get the noise any other time. Any opinions? Thanks!<br />MJ, Everything Embroidered
