  • Fusiable mesh

Ok this may seem like a dumb question but can anyone share with me how you apply fusible mesh on 100% poly performance fabric. I am trying it on some San Mar shirts, I ironed it on with my household iron at a medium setting. It fused, embroidery looks great, and then I tried heating it up again to remove. Could not get it to release cleanly. It would not release with low heat, and I was afraid using higher heat would damage the shirt, it is white of course. I finally got it partially off using a high heat on my iron but with a piece of tearaway between the iron and the mesh to protect the shirt. However I think the fabric has been compromised. There has to be an easier way to use this product. Heat press perhaps? It took me forever yesterday to deal with 1 shirt. Please share tips as I have a few more to do. Cindy in Phoenix

Use even less heat to apply.
Just enough to have it activate.
and then not completely. then it will hold and you will be able to pull off the backing to trim.
I am not a fan of using it on ploy shirts. (but I have, using my heat press as I have much more control over the temp.)
