  • Satin stitch outlines

    Good Day Everyone!

We have the need to place a satin stitch boarder around both letters and graphics on some of our designs. We have tried the offset feature in DS10 and have even drawn outlines around the elements that need the satin stitches, but nothing seems to work for us. The offset feature doesn't make an outline. It just increases the size of the element you select. This is good but you can't make a satin outline. Drawing an outline and digitizing it works to an extent, but the fill portion of the pattern seldom runs under the satin stitch outline. It looks good on the computer screen but push/pull messes it up. Any help, hints, tricks. Thanks, Bruce

did you try right clicking the object and choosing change element and choosing single line center. and then add instead of replace.
    works for me.

No, but that is the menu I use to select "Offset" and "Add". I will give it a try. Thanks
