  • Getting a good puff

Have a customer that wants a piece of vinyl stitched with a bean stitch design to decorate a motorcycle seat.

I have no problem digitizing a design in fact it is done.

    I have two questions.

What is the best thing to use to Puff the design to get the Quilted look. Foam, quilt batting of fleece quilt batting.

and second question has anyone use Nylon commercial thread in the Amaya.
The type that is used to sew on heavy fabric.

my customer would prefer it to others since it is the best in holding up to the weather.
He is providing it to me.
    the cone is labled

    69 NYLON BONDED,
    BLACK #51769P TR350.

If anyone has ant suppestions I would welcome them....

    Thanks

The thread stitched but the Amaya did not like it for trimming.

      Got the design done.

      Customer was very happy...

      And that is what matters.

So what did you end up choosing, the foam or batting?

1/4" of poly batting (4 layers of 1/16th")

the foam was so soft did not seem as it would provide enough loft.
