I broke down and purchased Design shop V9. Well my PC broke down anyway. So I have the OESCO font on my V7 that I purchased years ago. I need to move it to V9. I downloaded it to a flash drive then reloaded it on V9. How ever it is not showing up as an option in by melco alphabet. What is the trick to getting this loaded? I use this font all the time.

    Thanks Cindy in Phoenix

Did you change dongles when you went to v-9?

No I am using the same dongles as they stated every thing would work. So far so good althought using V9 is like learnign to digitize all over again. I can't find the complex column tool on it either. Should I have received new dongles?

This is the location of your alphabets folder.

        C:\Program Files\Melco\Design Shop v9\Alphabets

Some of the alphabets have been redigitized and the newer versions in V9 are much better than in V7 so be careful not to overwrite something.

I don't think I got a new dongle for V9. I think my V9 software was programmed to run on my dongle number or however they designate it. I don't really know exactly how that works.

I purchased a font years ago and if I remember correctly Jeff Banks (RIP) told me they were keyed to your dongle..

            Hello
Oesco is a licensed font. This means that when you purchased this font you received instructions on how to install this so that it worked in V7. If you are like me you probably misplaced these instructions. Please email me at [email protected] with you customer number and/or company name, address, phone number and I will get you hooked up.

            Thanks,
