  • Cap Attachment for Original Big Red

I am ready to take the plunge and buy a hat hooping system. I bought the original one but received no training, got discouraged and put it somewhere safe--So safe I couldn't find it if I wanted to. Many of my friends have all kinds of systems. Can anyone offer me suggestions so I don't waste money? My machine is a Big Red. Thank you in advance. If you would rather email me directly [email protected]

If you are only going to be embellishing the front of the caps, the conventional cap frame works well. And you can use the hooping guage that came with the (horrible) WACF's.

The WACF works well and is my choice for all the hats I do on the Big Red. I do more hats than flats and have never had a problem with any hat other than the Flex-Fit with the buldge in the front. For it the CCF works better.

I have an unused WACF that came with my Big Red that I am currently holding it for someone who didn't have the money when I posted it for sale. I asked $300 for it (without the hooping gauge); it now lists for about $700. If you are interested, I can find out if my prospective buyer still wants it or not.
