Settings for fill stitch

I'm not sure how to explain this. When you have a square with a fill stitch, and column letters on top. When digitized you have a square with the fill stitches omitted where the letters sit. I want the fill to go straight through. I do not want the fill stitch omitted where the letters sit. There is a setting for this. I cannot remember what it is.

When you digitize, make sure to uncheck the "flatten" bos at the top of the screen next to the vector to embroidery settings.
