  • Sweatshirt stabilizer 1.5 or 2.5?

Getting ready to do a run of sweatshirts for cheerleader. We have a large circular logo (8x5) with the words cheerleader underneath, running these in a 17x12 hoop - should we use 1 layer 1.5 oz cutaway or 2.5 oz. Test run with 1 layer 1.5 oz looks to have an ever so slight wave to it.

The logo is a combination satin and fill stitch circle (13K stitches) with no background fill and two overlapping (14K stitches)letters in the middle.

    Any other suggestion??

What is your stitch count - appro# ? and is there intensive stitching like satin stitches

I would probably suggest a 2.5 to 3 oz "wet laid" dense, non directional non woven cutaway - One layer "should" hold up to approx 40-50,000 stitches and it is extemely soft and drapable.

If you have a problem w the backing "shadow" I have another suggestoiion

    Sincerely
    Fred
