  • Digitizing Letters

When digitizing your own alphabet letters, how does one go about getting those short stitches in the corners so they aren't all piled on top of each other? I have some clients that have a very wide part on each side of say a "D" but the top and bottom of the rounded part is skinny. Not sure if you can understand what I am trying to say, but basically one is joining a very wide area, turning a corner to a small narrow area. Need some advanced digitizing on line lessons if anyone knows of such a thing using our DS features.

I kinda understand but not %100 sure how to convey the answer to you. If yo utell me the font or send it to me, I can digitize a letter for you and then you can look at that one and go from there??? Let me know.

You have to ease into the corners by starting your turn early

Create separate objects for the narrow and wide parts of your letter that join in a corner. Tuck the narrow columns under the wide columns.
Hope this is what you're looking for.

THANKS EVERYONE!!! Been using some of the solutions you all referred to, but mine just don't look quite right, so obviously, I still don't quite have it right.
