  • Need help with FILL-Gradient/Varigated

Can anyone tell me if I can do a gradient fill from high density to low density such as in a sunset or waves automatically in DS?
I have tried to put a high to low density fill on top of my base fill to get the effect but it looks like thread randomly on top. I am using a broadcloth (carhart jack back) with .08 stitch length- with 40wt poly. It is not a nice crisp look the edges are not good either. I am trying to get a sunset effect.
Thanks for your help, as always this is the only place to find the answers.

In Ver 9, create a complex fill cirle or object. Go into Properties and select Effects. Check Custom Densities. Drop the arrow box down and select one of the choices, linear works well, check the little box for Blend and play with all the various density and stitch angle settings until you get something you like...
