  • Rule of Thumb for R chest name size?

I'm wondering if I'm designing names on Rt Chests too large. Any general rules out there? I've been establishing a height, let's say 1 inch, and then increasing width for short names and decreasing size (height & width both) for longer names. I'm probably overthinking this.

    Appreciate your response.

I look at the length of the name to deside on the font size.
AL or ALEXANDER many not look good with the same size.
I usually try to keep single names 3.5 inches or less in length. Exception would be on 3XL and larger shirts and jackets.
On extra small youth or ladies clothings I adjust for the size of the shirt or etc.
