  • Positioning the shoulder patch

Can anyone tell me how to position shoulder patch?

I always go down 1 to 1/2 inches.
You can't always go by the seam on the sleve.
What I do is put on the shirt/jacket and tape the patch to the sleve and line it up.
Better to put on someone else so you can look at it but a mirror will do just fine.

Some people want the patch a little more to the front of the shirt than in the center of the sleve.

If it's for a Boy Scout uniform, they have printed guidelines in the handbook and also on a sheet for 'uniform inspection guide'that shows you exactly where to set patches. For military (national guard, etc.) there are guidelines printed for those, I think I found them on-line, I had to do some National Guard stuff one time. For local police, fire departments, etc.-ask to get a shirt that is already done and take your measurements off those to get exact placement.
