Military Style Hats

I have to do 36 of the District Threads Distressed Military Hats and have never done this style before. Please if you have I need some pointers/advice Hooping, backing, digitizing size, Thread feed/run/fill feed. (I have XT)I am not a big fan of Hats in general so need to know if I am going to need to order several extras or more........

I would definitely use the CCF if you have it- you are just stitching the front, correct? As far as backing, one piece of 3 oz. should be fine. Hoop them smooth & tight. You may want to order a couple extra depending on how intricate the design is. Me- not a fan of caps either.
