Does anyone have some general guidelines for fill density per material types? Just something to get started with would be great. Understand there are variables, but I would think there should be something of a general standard to start with for twills, dri-tech, pique's, and so on. Also, anyone know of some good online digitizing courses?? As always, appreciate your help!

Twill-start at about 4- 40 in stitch length.
pique-lower- say about 3.5 to 3.8.
dri-tech- have to be careful here- start higher- 5 to 5.2.
There are general guidelines under help in the DS software, as well as a lot of videos about how to do things. You can also do searches about specific topics in this forum- just click on the search icon under "new topic" (right beside "my profile" & "directory". Let us know if you need more info.
