  • embroidery on neoprene (notepad cover)

Has anyone embroidered on these covers before? If so any problem? Help

I have tried embroidery on some scrap neoprene I had from a screenprinting job-and if the neoprene doesn't have a textile/cloth backing then the needles will literally punch a line of holes through it that allow it to tear like perforated paper. So check your notebook cover and see if it has a glued/heat sealed liner behind it. If not-any embroidery will be a customer disaster.
Are you sure it is neoprene and not vinyl canvas?

Been there done that and it is a major headache that I now stay as far away from it as I can if possible...hard to hoop too...the material tends to press in with any clips you use so you have to be very careful how you hoop it...again...big headache...someone else on here may have a great idea on how to embroider on it...just my thought...until next time...
