  • 100% polyester shirts, question

I have been asked to embroider a few shirts, as stated in my subject. I need to know what density to use on the letters that are full block cp, 0.295". Also what combination backing to use. This is my first try on these and I do not have a scrap to practice with.
    Thanks

Find a very similar scrap & try density of 5 to 5.5 to start on the columns, keep the underlay stitches short (12-15 pts.)- you will have to use column width adjustment, most likely. For backing, I would use two sheets of 1.5 oz. of cut-away & solvy on top if there is any nap or pique.

Thanks so much, there is no pile or nap, real smooth fabric.
