Embroidery making fabric pucker

I am embroidering on a new quick-dry, very thin, very stretchy swim fabric. I have the pull comp up to 3 and am still getting puckering. I'm using a sticky-back, tear away stabilizer.

Please send suggestions to help me eliminate the puckering. Thank you.

I use no-show poly-mesh backing but use Solvy on top and be sure you have a new, ballpoint needle in.

It may look puckered now but what about when the suit is on someone's body?

My best sucesses (sp?) with these types of materials were run with (yes) heavyweight tear-away backing, BP needles (light ball), and slooow machine speed. The slow speed helps to keep the threads from pulling soooo tight. This IS iffy area here, so try many things on damaged articles or scraps before you go doing it on cust. goods.

I would suggest, depending on the stitch count and density, a layer of mesh backed by a tearaway
If it is a higher stitch count 15,000 or so use 2 pieces of the nylon mesh cross patterned
the diagonal nyl;on mesh is also made in a fusible version to arrest any movement in the hoop
