  • Pantone color chart

I have to match some threads to pantone colors. Does anyone know where I can find the chart or where to go for this?
    Thank you,
    Pam

You might check with your thread company. I know Melco had the Pantone color swatches. We had them in our store and paid just under $100 for the two sets from the internet but that has been back 3 or 4 years ago.

I have a R/A poly chart, and it lists Pantone numbers next to the R/A numbers.... might get you in the right direction.

        Dear Pam,
If you are going to be in the business long it is worth the price to purchase the color sets directly from Pantone. We found the best one to purchase is the graphics not the textile one. We got the textile set first and come to find out that graphic artists use the graphic set. Also if you find a matching system on the computer the paper ink, actual thread color and computer colors don't always look like the real thread. We alwasys have to explain that to the client. The two places I would send you have removed their Pantone match probably for licensing purchases. Margaret

Machine embroidery designs by OESD. Shop high-quality fonts, alphabets, applique, in-the-hoop, Christmas & tiling scene embroidery designs. Plus, OESD stabilizer, Isacord thread and more.

Maybe this will be a quick way of finding what you need until you can get a better chart.
