  • Long , loose stitches

I'm running a project with fill that I digitized and for some odd reason at the end of a fill area it starts stitching extremely long stitches which are loose. I've tried adjusting every thing and it won't stop. What the heck is that all about?

Try stitching in "standard" mode instead of "auto" as far as acti-feed goes; there is a chart for what settings to use somewhere within this menu domain. The software compensates for the "layers", so don't worry about that. Let us know if this helps. If it does, there may be a problem with the acti-feed auto setup, then it's only a matter of deductive reasoning by your tech to resolve the malfunction issue. Lastly, check the "auto-feed lower limit" under thread-feed & adjust to 1 just to see if that might help.

Thanks for responding. I changed the stitch direction and it seems to be fine now. I had it at 90 degrees and now at 80. I'm not sure why that corrected the problem.
