presser foot hats

Where do you put your presser foot, when doing 6 panel hats? with a raised needle plate.

Darn- if you had a newer one, I'd have a good deal of advice. However, see if this works- presser foot at 2-clicks up from dead bottom, and thread feed at 8-9 if you run using standard- most of the time auto t/f is fine except for that darn seam...

For the big Reds, all the way up and down two clicks. If it sounds like it is "hammering too hard" then back up one more.

For the XT's , all the way down and up two.
