  • Letters and Borders

I need to do a letter in Old English Font and would like to put a border around it. I checked the border feature but it will not let me sew the border first. I am using Design Pro+ V9. I would like to sew the border and then the letter because if I do it the other way it looks like the center is consumed by the border.
In class they showed us that we could sew the border first to prevent this from happening. The soft ware does not let me move the colors. Can anyone give me advice, please.
    Thank you,
    Pam

You can uncheck stitch letters and then copy and paste it back in after duplcating it and then on the copy turn borders off.
it will stitch the borders completly then the letters after.

may not be perfect but it gets you there..

Use your "group" tool. Group all elements of the letters together, and group all of the elements of the border together, and the click on the borders and put them above the letters in the tree... process similar to what Jerome said.
