Fill Stitch and outline not lining up

I'm stitching a design with a fill stitch and outline around the fill. When outline is stitching, I still see color of the fabric. There is space between the fill and outline. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Most likely your fill is pulling in so you need to use some pull comp. Or you may need toincrease the width of your outline. Good luck!
