  • Sleeve Embroidery

Question, I bought the Durkee 15X30cm hoop for doing sleeves and now have an order for 5 microfleece jackets with embroidery down the sleeve. With the arms fastened on the 15cm sides, the inner hoop is a tight fit into the sleeve. Would you use the fast frame instead? How much backing would a person use and topping? I need to put "CHEERLEADER" doen the sleeve but the letters do not have to be more than .75. I have bear paws and dates and names to go on these jackets too.Thank you for your help.

Even if it is a tight fit, it may still work. Hoop it up, put it on the machine, and do a trace. If the trace seems OK, then it should work. I presume that the .75" letters are going down the sleeve and therefore there won't be a great side to side movement. As for topping, with fleece, I use solvy on top and just a regular stabilizer under.

Regular means cutaway or mesh cutaway?
