Blending fills

Does anyone know how to do this very well??? Basically looking for a semi-circle that starts white at the bottom and ends up royal at the top. I know the blend tab, etc.... just cant get it to work. Any help is welcomed.....

I have done some of this I did a sunset on a logo and I just had to play around to find the effect you want. On the semi-circle go to Object Properties and click on Effects. I went to Distortion Effect and played around with the different radial out, radial in, perspective, and double waved. Also set thje custom density On the effects page to one of the 5 settings to meet your design's needs. You can also set the density perameters there. Try that out and see if you get what you want.
