  • Personalization fonts

I am personalizing scrubs for a veterinarian. Every font I test sews bumps or loops at the tie ins. What am I doing wrong? About 1/2" tall letters for the caps. They aren't terribly bad, but I would expect not to see them if I were a customer.
2/08/10 Still trying out different fonts & settings. I need just one half inch tall font that will sew out great on scrub poly cotton and be okay for a gentleman. Anyone know one?? twinsmom

I have downloaded a bunch of True Type fonts and generally use Franklin Gothic Medium, anywhere from .35-.5 inches. Auto Kern at %6, Auto Underlay, 4.2 density, pull comp +2 and tie in and off only when necessary. i do hundreds of scrub /lab / chef coats per week and unless they ask for anything different, that is what works for me.
