spa slippers

Has no one out there emb'd on spa slippers or small cosmetic bags made out of waffle cotton fabric. I need advice!

Tina, Sorry for not signing - I am new to this procedure - total rookie should be my name. Thanks for the reply. I need to know the best hooping or clamping technique and what type of backing and or topping works best. I guess simple designs work best? Any other tips you can think of. I appreciate it greatly. I use the small hoop for the slippers with a tearaway for the backing and then I also put a water soluable on top. As far as a design goes I usually just do monograms on them as that is usually what my clients want. I wouldn't put to much of a detailed design on it and remember to watch the size of the design...

Tina -- thank you so much. My slippers and cosm. bag turned out beautiful. I didn't have a small hoop so I used a pocket clamp and your backing/topping suggestins. I love them!!
