  • Beginning digitizing

I have a little window of time so I decided to try some digitizing. When I convert a design to wireframe...which is the only way I can grab the property elements to work with it, right?

All the preset fills go away once it's converted to wireframe.

I have a simple small leaf and I want to split the leaf where the vein is. How is this done?

    Thanks in advance.

    Gary,
If you have an element that needs to be split into two different elements, and you need to retain the fill patterns that weren't created in Design Shop, one way to do this would be to "duplicate" the element and then delete the second half from the first element and then delete the first half from the second element. Deleting can be stitch by stitch or you can hold down the shift key and use the "Page Down" key to highlight a larger portion of stitches in the stitch list window.

Trying to explain what to do after converting to wireframe is more of an advanced class in Design Shop.

    Hope this helps.
