  • HOOP, FAST FRAME, DOG COLLAR (17040)

I am wanting to embroider on 1 inch wide nylon webbing to make horse halters. Has anyone used the dog collar hoop? Is that what I will need to use? Thank you for the input.

I just hoop with the regular style hoops.
I hoop backing draw a center line on the backing and spray adhesive the collar to the backing, with a little masking tape.
    works just fine.

That method works very well. A person can even place some fabric of the same thickness on each side of the collar and hoop all of it if they are concerned about movement.

I did purchase the dog collar frame from Fast Frames with attachments for Amaya and Brother PR600. I love it. I am hoping to go to dog shows and horse shows so that it will be paid for quickly. I do not use backing when I use the dog collar frame. I usually put the dog's name and add the phone number with area code in case the dog becomes lost.

I also purchased the fast frames dog collar frame and used it for horse lung lines, I found it quick and usefull as if you are doing lots of them you don't want to have to rethink the lining up for each item.

I was thinking about getting one and I was wondering what all it can be used for. I am just putting this out there before I spend $250.00/
