  • color blending-how?

I can't find info in DS9 on how to take a 'fill' like a letter H converted to outline-and blend it from red to yellow (almost like the color blend in a flame). I found info on random edge, but remember doing it in DS6 or 7 almost automatically. Anyone done it in DS 9 yet?

Make your shape. Properties/effects/ Custom density and set the densities to something like .7 and 2.5. The default of 0 will not do at all! It is as easy as that. You need to go in and change the colors. It seems about the same as earlier versions.

I am using V 9.00.099. On some earlier versions when you sent it to the machine, the colors were all screwed up. I haven't sewn this out so don't know how it works in this version. I would definitely do a sample sewout before I did it for real. And when you do that, make more than one - make 2 or 3 small ones and then carefully set your colors for the sewout.
