Trims in different formats

Good Morning, I am trying to determine why my trim commands won't register on the PR600 when I save in pes or DST format from DS V7. I am using the digitized lettering on the software so when I save the design shouldn't it pick up the trims as well? I have tried to import the lettering into my PE Design Software and save from there but it is worse. Any help would be appreciated.
