Digitizing in V9

I was real good at digitizing in the old version. Now I have V9 and feel like a fool. Why cant I digitize complex column stitches. Everything comes out as fills? I have a design with the letters jmf. they are only about 1.5" high but when I digitize them...booooom. fll stitches. HELP!!!!!

I'm guessing that you since your letters are as tall as they are, then your column (satin) stitches are exceeding their maximum length that is set up in your default settings. Once they exceed this maximum length, then the software automatically changes them over to fill stitches.

You have all the capabilities in the "Properties" windows to change these settings.
