I have a design that I sent to the machine. It is a largish monogram. On my DS screen it looks great. When I sent it to my amaya, the OS screen has large areas with in each letter where only underlay is showing up as the stitch area. What causes this and can it be corrected?

Cindy,
Have you turned off the "Hardware Accelerator" feature in both Design Shop and AOS???
Right click on the "3D" button on the screen and then uncheck this feature. See if this makes a difference.

This happened to me once with a wide satin stitch. I'm not in DS right now but I think you have to change the maximum width of your satin stitches. If it's set too narrow, it just won't stitch those parts and shows up as a blank area when you open it in Amaya OS.
My best suggestion is that you change the satin to a fill that resembles satin (again, can't remember the setting); it will stand up much better in the long run.
Have a great day!

Barb is right, your stitches in those areas are too wide so the OS is taking them out and not sewing them. Use a split satin if you have the ability or else switch to a fill for letters that are wider than 10pts (I would switch for anything wider than 70 if it were me)Aaron Sargent
Pegboard
541-727-1440
