  • Placement On Scrubs

Quick Question. Where is the proper placement on scrubs for logos and names?

Typically, if you only use a logo it would go on the left chest. However, if you need to put the Dr. name on the scrub do you place the name on the left chest and the logo on the right?

And what if you have other people in the office that are not going to put there names on the scrubs, do you then put the logo back on the left chest?

    Thanks
    Ben

Between my wife and I (mostly me lately) we've been
to the local hospitals and VA a lot, and Dartmouth Hitchcock.
All their staff have the 'logo' on the left chest,
above a pocket if there is one.
The majority that also have a name have it on the right chest, even spaced with the left logo.
Minority have it 'over' the left logo if it isn't a logo but just a 'department' lable. (like Physical Therapy Department instead of Dartmouth Hitchcock CLinic, for example) but I haven't seen anyone with a logo on the right side.
I also do embroidery for local County Home/hospital and also Visiting Nurse Clinic and Respite-and they all have the logos on the left-anyone adding a name puts it on the right.
Usually up high on the left area-unless it is a lab coat with wide lapels-then you have to position it down so it can be seen.
