  • Sewing Leather

I know this question has been asked before, however I am sewing a name onto leather. The vest has a leather pocket on it and an area above the pocket for text. So far I have the name done in Diane Script at .65" letter height. I have underlay, edge walk. I have auto density on. I'm using a 65/9 sharp needle. Can anyone give me advice on this and correct anything they think will cause me a problem?

I think I would use a center line instead of edgewalk with Diane. It is so think that the underlay might show. Margaret

A center walk or zig-zag underlay and make sure your density is at least 4.0 or higher.
