        it was EQ0351 and then enlarged it a very little to just over 2.5 x 2.5. I received orders from other area fire Dept.'s from that order. I also used EQ0109, Basically the ones that had the hidrant(sp) and the ladder were just sewn with normal stitch and not satin.

            Rather than use a cap for a test bed....I use 3 layers of standard cap backing , lightly spritzed with adhesive spray just to keep them from moving around and hoop them up just like doing a cap. Sometimes I will add a piece of twill material lightly glued in place too...good for a test bed and saves on caps.....just make the pieces long enough so all the teeth on the frame can bite into it and hold w/o any slipping....
