100% polyester board shorts

Hi there...Im looking for some advice on how to embroider board shorts. A very thin polyester swimming short. I can not figure out why I have soooo many thread breaks. I have tried different backing, different speeds, pulling the fabric tighter, leaving it looser..I even tried to adjust the acti-feed. I am new to embroidering, so any help would be greatly appriciated. Thank you, Danielle

Have you tried using different needles. I would try poly mesh for backing, digitize light density. No sure if this calls for sharps or ball, but tight hooping and proper digitizing and not too heavy stitching should help.

Great, thanks so much. I will do some adjusting and give this a try. One thing, Im not sure what you mean by "sharps or ball". Like I said, Im new to this, so I try to read the manuals, as much as I can find helpfull...but cant compare to real life advice Thanks again, Im sure I will be on here again. Danielle
